This hands-on community art workshop was a part of the Peace Cranes exhibition events. The idea of this workshop was to explore how our different sources of inspiration such as photographs, poetry, and found text fragments can be brought to life into a series of visual postcards.

We explored how to use composition and collage to create a unique message and develop a sense of connection. Participants were encouraged to ‘let go of any tightness in their hands and mind, allowing fluidity and a true expression of who they are.
