The Money Effect was created as a part of the Contemporary Art Practice course at Leith School of Art in 2021.

Experimenting with sound, and money as art tools while filming her process of abstract painting, Alena explored concepts such as pricing for digital art, confusion around NFT in the contemporary art world, and the value of digital currencies.
